When you’re building a community, the room matters more than you think. Too corporate and people clam up. Too casual and nothing gets done. Too big and it feels empty. Too small and it feels claustrophobic.

We’ve tried a lot of spaces in Poznań. Cafes, co-working spaces, university rooms, gallery basements. Each one changed the energy of the session in ways we didn’t expect.

Here’s what we’ve learned: the best spaces for Opensant have three things in common. First, they’re warm — literally and figuratively. Good lighting, comfortable seating, a temperature that doesn’t make you want to leave. Second, they have a focal point — a projector screen, a wall to pin things on, something that naturally draws attention without demanding it. Third, they’re accessible — easy to find, close to transit, open to everyone.

We’re currently working with several venues across Poznań, and we’re always looking for more. If you have a space that might work, we’d love to hear from you.
